Halloween mini mini album

Idag tänkte jag visa ett mini album jag har gjort till en av mina absolut bästa vänner. Albumets bas är återvunnet och nytänkande utifrån toalettrullar och en gammal kartong. Jag har använt papper från Digital Collage Club. Jag hade jätte roligt när jag skapade albumet då jag testade några nya roliga pop-up grejer jag hittat på Youtube. Totalt använde jag sex toalettrullar som jag spritade och torkade innan jag målade dem svarta. Till alla flapparna och tug-spotsen använde jag svart cardstock och en Edge die som jag sedan distressade med fingrarna. Men nu till lite bilder och tillhörande text samt en video 🙂

Today I'm showing a mini album I made to one of my best friends- The cover for the album is from a recycled cardboard box and the base pages are disinfected toilet paper rolls. The papers I used are from Digital Collage Club I love this site and I chose life time acess because Tina has so many fabulous downloads and there is alot of inspirational videos with her materials. I hade a lot of fun creating this album, I tried some new fun pop-up fixtures that I found on YouTube. I used a total of six disinfected toilet paper rolls that I painted black I also painted the cardboard box cover black. For the flip pages and the tug spots I used black cardstock and on some of them I used an edge die and I distressed them with my fingers. But now lets look at some pictures with matching textexts and lastly a YouTube video with a flip thru of the album.

Bokomslaget är gjort av en del från en gammal kartong. Jag rev av det yttre pappret på olika ställen på kartongbiten innan jag målade den med svart gesso. På framsidan satte jag en magnet och som jag dolde med papper för att kunna placera den underbara IT clownen inuti en lite låda med magnet på baksidan. Den kan tas av och kanske användas som magnet på kylskåpet 🤔. 

The cover is piece from a recycled bigger cardboard box like I said in the first text. I tor off the outer paper on different places before I painted it with black gesso. On the front I placed a magnet that I then covered with patterned paper so I could place the lovely IT clown that placed in a box with a magnet flipped to the matching side to the front cover one. Maybe it can be removed and used as a magnet for the fridge 🤔.

En liten zoom in på clownen som är skapad med lera i en egen skapad mold. Jag målade honom med akrylfärg och hans hår skapade jag med rött garn 🧶 som jag kammade. Jag modifierade originalet lite genom att dra upp hans mungipor. Hans pratbubbla klippte jag förhand och texten är stämplad med mitt favorit stämpelset från Artemio. Även ballongen klippte jag förhand och den är målad med akvarellfärg. Lådan vek jag på frihand och klippte ut ett fönster som jag satte plastfilm i. Pappret på insidan är från samma pappersserie som hela albumet. Som sista steg limmade jag in IT clownen så han tittar ut med sitt breda leende.

Lets zoom in on the clown that I created with the help from a home made mold and some air dry clay. I painted him with some white acrylic paint and I made his hair from some red yarn🧶that I combed. I did modify the molded version a little by pulling up the corners of his mouth. For the speach bubble i first stamped the text with my favorite alphabet stamp set from Artemio and then I cut it by free hand. I also cut the baloon by free hand and the I painted it red with acrylic paint. I cut and folded the box by free hand of some black cardstock and then I added an accetate window in the front. I covered the inside with the wonderful paper set I used in the album. The last step was to glue the It clown inside the box looking out smiling wide. 

På ryggen av bokomslaget punchade jag ett hål och sedan skapade jag en charm. Jag använde en liten kartong bit och domino bilder från pappers serien. Jag hade Glossy accent på domino bilderna som finish. Mellan bilderna (en på fram och en på baksidan) limmade jag svart fransgarn och i längst ner fäste jag en charm i form av en häxhatt. 

I punched a hole at the top of the spine and the I created a charm. I used a small piece from the cardboard box and two domino picture from the papper set. I put Glossy accent on top of the domino pictures as a finisking touch. Once the Glossy accent was dry I glued som black fringe yard to the back of them and then glued the pictures to the cardbord box pice. I placed a small charm with a witch hat at the bottom of the cardboard box charm.

Baksidan valde jag att lämna utan dekorationer för att synliggöra strukturen.

I didn't decorate the back because I wanted to make the structure more visible.

Som stängning  använde jag klämmor som jag hade disressat med AlcoInks.  Kedjan mellan klämmorna  har fyra olika halloween 🎃 charms.

I used two clips that I hade distressed with AlcoInks with a chain between with four halloween 🎃charms as closure.

Jag filmade en bläddring av albumet men insåg i efterhand när jag redan hade laddat upp videon på YouTube att jag missade en av pop-up sidorna. Den har ett pop-up hus med ett lite läskigt tråd från Tim Holtz Frightful Things thinlits die  på sidan. Men alla de andra är med så jag hoppas ni kan få lite inspiration.

I made a video with a flip thru of the album but after I was done loading up the video to YouTube I realized that I had missed one of the pop-up pages. I has a house that pops-up with a scary tree from Tim Holtz Frightful Things thinlits die on the side. But all the other pop-up pages are in so I hope you can find some inspiration.

Ett pocket letter med Gorjuss Girls kombinerat med flip, flaps and folds tema

Hej igen mina pyssliga vänner! I dag tänkte jag visa ett pocket letter som jag har postat iväg till USA och det borde anlända när som helst om det går som det ska. Vi hittade varandra på Pocket Letter Pals då jag ville se om det fanns någon som ville swappa ett Gorjuss Girls PL med mig. När vi väl kontaktat varandra så visade det sig att vi även blivit ihopparade i en swap som jag änmält mig i på sidan med temat Flip, Flaps and Folds. Min smarta swappartner förslog att vi skulle kombinera de två temana i ett och samma PL vilket jag givetvis tyckte var en kanon bra idé. Så det blev då alltså ett Gorjuss Girls PL med flipar, flappar och vikningar. Det var en kul utmaning och jag misstänker att jag missade hur det skulle vara då jag satte alla mina flippar, flappar och vikningar på "framsidan" och min partner satte alla på "baksidan". Men nu till mitt färdiga PL:

Hello again all crafty friends! Today I thought I would showa pocket letter I've sent to USA and it should arrive any time now if everything goes well. My swap partner and I found each other on Pocket Letter Pals when I was looking if anyone wanted to swap a Gorjuss Girl PL with me. Once we contacted each other we found out we also got paired in a group swap with the theme Flips, Flaps and folds. My clever swap partner suggested that we should combine the two themes into one pocket letter which I thought was a fabulous idea. So my pocket letter is a Gorjuss Girl PL with flips, flaps and folds. I was a super fun challenge and I suspect that I might have misunderstood how it Wes supposed to be since I put my flips, flaps and folds on the from but my swap partner put hers on the back. Bu now for my finished pocket letter:

Jag har använt tre olika storlekar på stämplar, mini, små och mellan samt cirkulära. Jag älskar verkligen dessa stämplar tyckte det var jätte roligt att få möjligheten att skapa med detta tema. Jag valde även att göra en Gorjuss Girls pärlcharm med en Gorjuss Girl i en kapsyl med en plast bail fastklistrad på baksidan.

I have used three different sizes stamps, mini, small and medium as well as a circular one. I really love these stamps and I found it super fun to be able to create with these theme. I also chose to make a Gorjuss Girl bead charm with a bottle cap and a plast bail glued to the back.

De första fickan har en plastficka med en Gorjuss Girl som jag skar ut med en die. Den andra fickan har en flap och när den öppnas kommer en pop-up överraskning för mottagaren. Jag älskar pop-ups och i detta PL placerade jag en photo collage pop-up. Jag har dock inte använt en die utan ritat och klippt en mall som jag sedan har kopierat i olika storlekar då detta photo collage behövde vara relativt litet. I stället för fotot satte jag olika "right now" top tre vilket jag tyckte var en rolig grej för mottagaren. Jag missade dock att fotografera min pop-up men ska försöka göra det nästa gång jag gör en. 

The first pocket, counting from the left has a plastic pocket inside with a Gorjuss Girl I stamped and cut with a die. The second pocket has a flap and when opened, a pop-up surprise will appear. Unfortunately I forgot to take a fotot of the pop-up but I'll try to remember next time I do one. I didn't have a die so I drew a template then I copied and printed it in different sizes since this photo collage had to be quite small. Instead of photos I put different "right now" top three which I thought could be fun for the recipient. 

Den fjärde fickan har två fickor på framsidan som har små goodie i sig. Den sjätte fickan har mer en tug spot men jag ser det som en fake folds då jag använde en spets die för att skapa tug spotten. I den sitter två shaker tags med en Gorjuss Girl på såklart, samt en doily die från Magnolia Dies, några lila flat back pearls och ett sentiment. I tagens hål fäste jag en lila öljett och sedan knöt jag ett lila band. 

The fourth pocket has two pockets on the front with little goodies inside. The sixth pocket has more of a tug spot but I table it a fake fold since I used a lace die to create the tug spot. I put two shaker tags I made with a Gorjuss Girl on offcours, I also used a doily from Magnolia doohickey dies, some purple flat back pearls and a sentiment. In the hole on the tag I put a purple eyelet and the I tied a purple ribbon in it.

Den sjunde fickan har en flip/flap lösning genom att man kan öppna grinden och där bakom finns en liten Gorjuss Girl. Den nionde och sista fickan har snarare ett belly band men en Gorjuss Girl är limmad i botten vilket gör henne till ett stop och med lite fantasi kan vi säga ett fold eller hur 😉.

The seventh pocket has a flip/flap by gates that can open and behind the gates a little Gorjuss Girl is hiding. The ninth, and the last pocket has more like a belly band made with a lace but the Gorjuss Girl is glued on the bottom which Makes her a stop and with a little imagination lets call it a fold right 😉.

I den första fickans plastficka ligger ett kuvert med mitt brev i, i den fjärde får ni en liten peek på vad som finns i de två fickorna och i den sjunde syns nu den lilla Gorjuss Girl som dolde sig bakom grinden.

In the first pockets plastic pocket is an envelope with my letter for my swap partner, The little Gorjuss Girl in the seventh pocket ops also showing. A little zoomed in you can get a little peek of what's inside the pockets pocket.
Här visar jag vad jag skickade i de olika fickorna, bakom brevet i den första fickan stämplade och färglade jag olika emojis på "frysetiketter" sedan klippte jag ut dem och satte på en remsa från en bred tejps skyddspapper. I den andra fickan stämplade jag upp de olika cirkulära stämplarna jag har i både 4CC papper  samt akvarellpapper. I den tredje fickan stoppade jag i ett die set med en burk och två tags för henne att använda eller skicka vidare 😀. Den fjärde fick lite olika somriga cut aparts jag hade liggande och mitten fickan nr 5 fick olika die cuts och punchar. Den sjätte fick ytterligare en shaker tag samt lite bling. Den sjunde fick lite post its i form av lila moln med ett mysigt ansikte på. Åttonde fickan fick en mjölkchoklad som jag slog in i ett mönsterpapper i form av en liten kartong och ett av mina favorit citat om choklad från Gummi apan. Nionde och sista fickan stämplade jag upp lite olika ord på papper med tejp på baksidan för henne att använda i sitt skapande.

This is the back of the pocket letter if you would like to know what I sent in the different pockets. Going right to left the first pocket has som colored emojis that I stamped on "freezer labels" which I then cut out and put an some left over tape protective paper. The second pocket has the different circular stamps on both 4 CC papper as well as watercolor paper. In the third pocket I put a jar die including two tag dies for her to use or send pas forward 😀. The fourth pocket has some summer themed cut aparts I had in my stash, the fifth pocket has different die cuts and punches. The sixth pocket has on more shaker tag and som bling. The seventh pocket has some post its in the shape of purple clouds with a cute face. The eight pocket hides a chocolate that I wrapped in som patterned paper and then I used a favorite quote from Gummi Apan to decorate. The ninth as well as the last pocket has some text stamps that I stamped on regular paper and the I put duoble sided tape on the back for her to use in her creation.

Nu har jag min sista semester vecka och jag hoppas på att kunna pyssla lite varje dag 🌞

I have one last week of vacation left and I hope I can craft a little every day 🌞
